Two-Vehicle Injury Crash 
Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on July 24th, 2025 at approximately 0746 hours, Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Yankee St. and Carberry Rd., Howard Township, Cass County, Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Karen Stanton, (57-years-old of Osceola, IN) was westbound on Yankee St. A vehicle driven by Jovita Holly (54-years-old of Niles, MI) was northbound on Carberry Rd. and failed to stop at the stop sign, going into the intersection and crashing into the other vehicle.
Both Stanton and Holly were transported by SMCAS ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
Assisting agencies were SMCAS Ambulance, Howard Township Fire Department, and Niles Fire Department.
Drugs and Alcohol are not believed to be a factor in this incident.
The incident remains under investigation
