On Sunday, July 13, 2025, deputies with Waterford Police Services began investigating a case involving child sexual abuse. A 15-year-old victim disclosed to law enforcement that she had been in contact with an adult male, whom she met via social media, with whom she had sexual encounters. The encounters occurred at night after the male convinced the victim to sneak out of her home.

Due to the nature of the crimes, detectives with Waterford Police Services took over the case. The suspect was positively identified as Enrique Orozco Guzman, a 29-year-old Hispanic male from Stockton. On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, Orozco was arrested while attempting to meet with a second victim. During an interview, he admitted to having sexual encounters with the victim. A search of his phone revealed videos he recorded during the sexual encounters.

Orozco was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on multiple charges, including lewd and lascivious acts with a minor, oral copulation, possession of child pornography, manufacturing of child pornography, and distribution of child pornography.
