* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Cook, DuPage and Will.
* WHEN...Until 530 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 302 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms that are producing 1 to 2 inches of rain in 30 minutes. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chicago, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Cicero, Bolingbrook, Oak Lawn, Berwyn, Wheaton, Oak Park, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Lombard, Romeoville, Plainfield, Addison, Woodridge, Midway Airport, Austin and South Lawndale. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
