INCIDENT: Attempt Murder
LOCATION: Central Road and Bear Valley Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Alejandro Cervin, 24-year-old male of Lucerne Valley
SUMMARY:
On Jul 16, 2025, deputies from the Apple Valley Station responded to an area near the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Central Road for a shooting in the area. The victim reported his vehicle had been shot at following a dispute with the suspect while they were in Lucerne Valley. After following the victim into Apple Valley, the suspect, later identified as Alejandro Cervin, fired at the victim’s vehicle at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Central Road. The victim was not hit by gunfire.
The information was provided to the Apple Valley Detective Bureau and with the assistance of the Specialized Enforcement Division, a search warrant was served at a residence located in the 11000 block of Locust Avenue in Lucerne Valley on July 23, 2025. Cervin was taken into custody without incident and booked at High Desert Detention Center for attempt murder. Cervin is being held in lieu of $800,000 bail.
