End of  Volunteers of America - IMPACT Position

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley has informed us that, due to state budget cuts, they have ended the IMPACT staff position that was housed within our police department. This program helped address complex issues like homelessness, addiction, and food insecurity through on-site support.  The Maple Shade Police Department is actively working with township officials to explore ways to fill this service gap.

Please be reminded that the following support services remain available:

• Straight to Treatment

Mondays, 4 PM–8 PM
Walk into the PD lobby and ask for help with addiction. No ID, insurance, or residency requirement.

• Maple Shade Food Bank

1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month 
10 AM - 2 PM 
Basement of Municipal Building 
(Stiles and Park Aves)

• Project Medicine Drop
  Available 24/7
  Safely dispose of unused prescription meds—anonymously, no questions asked.
