FLOOD ADVISORY 
FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM EDT /345 PM CDT/ THIS
AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northern Indiana, including the following
counties, Marshall and Starke.
* WHEN...Until 445 PM EDT /345 PM CDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 136 PM EDT /1236 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms approaching the advisory area.
Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. The combination of runoff from earlier heavy
rainfall and additional showers and thunderstorms through mid
afternoon will result in some minor flooding. Between 1 and
3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Plymouth, Knox, North Judson, Oak Grove, Ober, Winona, Bass
Lake, Grovertown, Donaldson, Toto, Burr Oak, Hibbard, Tyner,
Twin Lakes, English Lake, Lomax and San Pierre.
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
