1. Battery on an Officer (0700) 1200 Block of South El Dorado Street, Seaport District
An officer responded to the listed area regarding an illegal dumping call. Upon arrival, the officer contacted the suspect. When the officer attempted to detain the suspect, he pulled away and began to walk off. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Carlos Salazar, 45, for resisting arrest, battery on an officer, and illegal dumping.
2. Robbery (0951) 600 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
The female victim, 57, was working at a business in the listed area when the suspect entered and took several items without paying. When the victim attempted to retrieve the items, the suspect assaulted the victim. The suspect fled with the stolen merchandise. SUSPECT: Black female adult.
