On Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 4:18am, officers were called to the area of NW 2 and N Adams on a possible shooting. Dispatch received numerous calls from people stating shots were being fired in the area. They were also advised there was at least one victim in a vehicle who had been shot. When officers arrived they located one male victim inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound and he was deceased. Victim is identified as Damarian Grear, male age 18. Homicide was called to the scene. This incident is still under investigation.
