* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Cook and DuPage.
* WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 423 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chicago, Berwyn, Elmhurst, Lombard, Addison, Melrose Park, Maywood, Brookfield, Franklin Park, Hinsdale, Westchester, La Grange, Burr Ridge, Oak Brook, Dunning, Elmwood Park, Westmont, Villa Park, Bellwood and Bensenville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
