July 25, 2025:

• Officer Allison conducted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle near Van Buren Street and Homecrest Road. A 27-year-old female and a 32-year-old male were both arrested for conditional bond violation. Charges will be sought on the female for possessing a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was returned to the owner.
• Officer Stallworth made contact with a subject at North Jackson Street and West Michigan Avenue. A 34-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officers responded to the Jackson Crossing Mall for a subject shoplifting. A 30-year-old male was arrested for 1^st degree retail fraud.
• Officer Kuhn and Cadet Miller attended the Back to School Bash at the American 1 Event Center.
• Officer Frazier conducted a traffic stop near South Cooper Street and East Franklin Street. A 24-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. Charges will be sought on a 24-year-old female for possessing narcotics with the intent to distribute.
• Officers responded to the 700 block of East South Street for a disorderly subject.
• Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of First Street for a disorderly subject. A 24-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officer Farnsworth conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of East Michigan Avenue. The 44-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated – 3^rd offense.

• Officer Hogan responded to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of Hill Street. A 15-year-old male was lodged at JCYC for domestic assault.
• Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East Mansion Street for shots fired. Shell casings were located in the area.
• Officer Elston attended the Southside Summer Fest.
• Officer Mills conducted a traffic stop at Carl Breeding Way and East Morrell Street. A 38-year-old male was arrested for violating a personal protection order.
• Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop at East Ganson Street and Cooper Street. The 25-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

• Detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 1500 block of Carl Breeding Way.
• Officer Allison was dispatched to the 500 block of Sixth Street for a subject violating a personal protection order. The 49-year-old male suspect has not been located.
• Sergeant Grove conducted a traffic stop near East South Street and South Cooper Street. The 22-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
• Officers responded to the 1500 block of Plymouth Street for a hit and run traffic crash. The 29-year-old female suspect was arrested for driving while intoxicated – 3^rd offense.
