Cooling Stations Opened 
Due to the rising high temperatures through Wednesday evening and the a heat index that could possibly reach 105 degrees in our area the Hawthorne Library and the Hawthorne Volunteer Ambulance Corps will be available as cooling stations for Hawthorne residents in need of relief from the heat. As a reminder, If it is necessary to be outside please limit your activity and stay hydrated! Also, remember to check on the elderly, your neighbors and pets that may need assistance.
