Wilmington Police have arrested two men on burglary charges.
 
Police responded to the 100 block of Hay Road in reference to a burglary incident that had occurred on July 23 at approximately 12:45 p.m. Through the course of an investigation, officers learned that two suspects had removed property from multiple vehicles at that location, causing damage to one of the vehicles.
 
The suspects were identified as 20-year-old Zephone Mace and 18-year-old Jovani Velasques-Ramirez, and both were taken into custody without incident.
 
Mace has been charged with the following offenses:

• Burglary (Third Degree) – Two Counts
• Conspiracy (Second Degree)
• Theft Under $1,500 – Two Counts
• Criminal Mischief Under $1,000

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $3,800 unsecured bail.
 
Velasques-Ramirez has been charged with the following offenses:

• Burglary (Third Degree) – Two Counts
• Conspiracy (Second Degree)
• Theft Under $1,500 – Two Counts
• Criminal Mischief Under $1,000

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $2,900 unsecured bail.
