A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ST. JOSEPH...NORTHEASTERN STARKE...NORTHWESTERN MARSHALL AND EAST CENTRAL LA PORTE COUNTIES 
At 229 PM EDT/129 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm over Kingsford Heights, or 10 miles south of La Porte,
moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Knox, Walkerton, Kingsford Heights, Hamlet, Koontz Lake, La Paz,
Teegarden, South Center, Donaldson, Salem Heights, Tyner, and
Grovertown.
Instructions:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
