Crime Blotter for the Week of July 20, 2025 – July 26, 2025

The following is a synopsis of crimes reported from July 20, 2025 to July 26, 2025.

July 20, 2025

  • Domestic Violence
1900 block of Chesson Street – On July 20, 2025 at 10 PM, during an argument, the suspect assaulted the victim, causing injury. Named suspect, not in custody. Temple DB to follow-up.
 
July 21, 2025
  • Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Not Firearm)
1300 block of Starhaven Street – On July 21, 2025 at 7:14 AM, during an argument, the suspect assaulted the victim, causing injury. The suspect was arrested. Temple DB to follow-up.

July 22, 2025
  • Grand Theft (Bicycle)
2300 block of Maynord Street – On July 22, 2025 at 4 PM, the suspect stole the victim’s E-bike from his friend's front porch area. No video surveillance footage. No arrest was made. Temple DB to follow-up.

July 23, 2025
  • No significant activity.

July 25, 2025
  • Burglary (Business)
1727 Buena Vista Street (Life Storage) – On July 25, 2025 at 6 AM, the suspect entered the storage unit and ransacked the area. Unsure if anything was taken from the location. Surveillance video is available. No arrest was made. Temple DB to follow-up.

July 26, 2025 
  • Burglary (Business)
1088 Huntington Drive (T-Mobile) – On July 26, 2025 at 2:30 PM, the suspect entered the location and stole a cell phone. Surveillance video is available. No arrest was made. Temple DB to follow-up.
 
  • Robbery (Weapon)
1700 block of Evergreen Street – On July 26, 2025 at 4:30 PM, the suspect produced a knife and forced the victim to give them several personal items. The suspect was arrested. Temple DB to follow-up.
 
The LASD Virtual Deputy at Temple Station Is Now Live
 
This system allows you to schedule a virtual meeting with a deputy sheriff to report specific crimes or ask questions related to law enforcement. It is not designed for incidents that necessitate an immediate response from law enforcement or for filing a public complaint. This service aims to reduce wait times, enhance the efficiency of the services provided to the community we serve, and ensure that law enforcement resources are available for priority and urgent calls for service. We appreciate your willingness to use this service when it is appropriate.
 
The form below will permit you to submit your contact information only if a virtual deputy meeting is deemed suitable based on your responses. When reporting a crime, you will be able to submit your contact information only if you have answered “No” to questions 2-9. This service is exclusively available to community members within the jurisdiction of Temple Station. After submitting your contact information, you will receive an email link to schedule the virtual deputy meeting.
  • From the LASD (Temple) website (https://lasd.org/temple/), scroll down to the “Virtual Deputy” section. 
  • Select the appropriate service you would like to receive.
  • Provide a summary of your request.
  • Lastly, click the “Submit” button.
Once you’ve submitted your contact information, you’ll receive an email link to schedule the virtual deputy meeting.
