Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda invites Police, Firefighters, members of the Office of Emergency Management, and the community to partner for Wellness Wednesdays.
Beginning at 8 a.m. each Wednesday before Labor Day, everyone is invited to participate in an activity designed to enhance their physical and mental well-being through a weekly outdoor run.
The next Wellness Wednesdays run will be held on July 30th at the Engine 29, at 1028 Bergen Street. Please arrive by 7:45 a.m. for a pre-run stretch. Dress in activewear and sneakers to participate.
New run locations will be announced each week. All are welcome.
