Not everything belongs in your recycling cart but here’s what does in Gloucester Township:
Glass containers (clear, brown, or green — food & drink only)
Metal containers (aluminum, tin, bi-metal cans)
Plastic containers with ONLY #1 or #2 recycling symbols (no lids!)
Paper items like newspapers, magazines, junk mail, envelopes, cereal & chipboard boxes, clean pizza boxes, gift wrap (non-metallic), and more
Cardboard must be flattened, cut down or folded, and placed vertically in the cart
Please do NOT recycle:
grass, leaves, brush, electronics, construction debris, diapers, Styrofoam, vinyl, food/pet waste, liquids, or any trash.
