TRAINING BEING CONDUCTED AT MIDLAND WATER TREATMENT PLANT,2607 BAY CITY RD TODAY FROM 1-4.PUBLIC SAFETY VEHICLES WILL BE IN THE AREA. 
A training exercise will be conducted on Tuesday, July 29 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the City of Midland Water Treatment Plant, located at 2607 Bay City Rd.
The City of Midland Fire Department and other supporting agencies will participate in a training exercise that will simulate response efforts to a hazardous material release.
As part of the exercise the public may see a large presence of fire personnel and equipment congregating at the water plant. Please note this is only a training exercise and there is no immediate threat to the community. The Midland Fire Department and supporting agencies participate in training opportunities to prepare for potential hazardous materials situations that may arise in our community.
