On 7/25/25, at approximately 8:47 pm, Officers in the Town of Beloit responded to the 2200 Block of Park Ave for a report of a motorcycle crash, there was one involved patient who was unconscious with significant injury. Officers arrived on scene and started life savings efforts. Shortly after, City of Beloit and Town of Beloit emergency medical services arrived to relieve the officer’s lifesaving efforts. The motorcycle rider was identified as Devin Schoonover, Age 45, of Beloit, WI. Schoonover was transported to the hospital for his injuries related to the crash. Officers on scene determined the crash was a solo-vehicle collision based on evidence and witness statements. Town of Beloit Officers later received information Schoonover had succumbed to his injuries and the investigation was turned over to the Rock County Medical Examiner’s Office.
