A note from the City of Asbury Park’s Tax Collection Department:
The mailing of tax bills due August 1, 2025, which would include the 3rd and 4th quarter payments for 2025 and the 1st and 2nd quarter payments for 2026, has been delayed. The City’s certified tax rate was not received in time to meet the statutory mailing deadline. Tax bills will be mailed in the coming weeks, and the grace period for the 3rd quarter will be extended to September 5, 2025.
Sewer bills were mailed on July 17, 2025, and have a grace period until August 11, 2025. No further extension will be provided. Please note that failure to receive a bill does not exempt you from paying tax or sewer. If you are having problems with receiving your bills, please notify your local Post Office.
Payments can be made in person Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Tax & Sewer Collections Office located at 1 Municipal Plaza. There is also an after-hours drop box to the left of the main entrance.
