1. Weapons Arrest (1119) Twelfth Street and Phelps Avenue, Park District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of shots fired. Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a related vehicle and took the driver into custody. Officers searched the car and found a reported stolen firearm. ARRESTED: Eric Rodriguez, 32, for weapons violations.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (1149) 2100 Block of Quail Lakes Drive, Lakeview District
The female victim, 28, and the suspect got into an argument. During the argument, the suspect shot at the victim’s vehicle. The victim was not injured and waved down officers. Officers located the suspect and took her into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Aleeyah Smith-Valentine, 28, for assault with a deadly weapon.
