Wilmington Police arrest man in connection with shots fired incident: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with a shots fired incident.
On July 10 at approximately 8:54 p.m., police responded to the 1400 block of St. Elizabeth Street in reference to a shots fired incident with no injuries. Members of the Crime Gun Intelligence Center, with the assistance of the Uniformed Services Division, identified 32-year-old Jesus Ortiz-Seda as a suspect.
On July 28, police located Ortiz-Seda in the 1600 block of Bonwood Road and took him into custody without incident. Investigators subsequently executed a search warrant in that block and recovered a 20-guage shotgun with a sawed-off barrel, as well as shotgun shells and several other types of ammunition.
Ortiz-Seda has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Destructive Weapon
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Criminal Mischief Under $1,000
