The female victim, 65, was in an argument with the suspect in the area of the listed call location. The suspect struck the victim with an unknown object. Uninvolved citizens chased the suspect out of the area. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: Black male adult
2. Weapon Arrest (0216) 300 Block of Tuleburg Levee, Civic District
Officers contacted the occupants of a vehicle parked in the area and observed a loaded handgun. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Caris Ornelas, 31, for weapons charges.
