The National Tsunami Warning Center has CANCELLED the TSUNAMI ADVISORY for the San Francisco Bay Area, including Berkeley.

While there is no longer a tsunami threat to our area, residents and visitors are urged to remain cautious, as strong currents and hazardous water conditions may still persist along the Berkeley shoreline and Marina.

Boaters are advised to stay out of the water and avoid shoreline areas until conditions stabilize.
