Flash Flood and Severe Storm Risk This Afternoon 
Per the National Weather Service for our area:
Widespread showers and thunderstorms expected this afternoon through tonight. Storms will be capable of producing rainfall rates exceeding 2” per hour at times. Rainfall amounts of 1-3” are generally expected, with localized amounts of 5-7” possible. A Flood Watch is in effect for the entire area from 2 PM this afternoon through 6 AM Friday.
