A Message from the Haledon Office of Emergency Management
On behalf of Mayor Michael Johnson and Haledon Emergency Management Coordinator Carlos Aymat, please be advised that the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for our region starting at 1 PM today, July 31, 2025, until 8 AM tomorrow, August 1, 2025. Severe storms are reportedly expected. Therefore, please avoid unnecessary driving during this period and take the necessary precautions to ensure your safety. Chief of Police Angelo J. Daniele, Fire Chief Tom Bakker, and Haledon Department of Public Works Director Rocco Feldhann have been briefed.
Due to the anticipated inclement weather, the Haledon Police Department's Pizza with a Cop community event scheduled for today at Haledon Pizza (303 Belmont Avenue) from 5 PM to 7 PM has been postponed to Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 5 PM to 7 PM.
