A State of Emergency has been declared starting at 2:00pm today due to anticipated widespread flooding. 
Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected beginning this afternoon into tonight. Storms will be capable of producing excessive rainfall rates in excess of 2” per hour. Rainfall amounts of 1-3” are generally expected, with localized amounts around 5-7” or more possible. This could lead to numerous instances of flash flooding of urbanized and poor drainage areas, small streams, and creeks. Significant flash flooding is possible.
