At 410 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Chalk Hills, or 28 miles south of Mountain Home, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing visibilities. Locations impacted include... Grand View, Bruneau, Bruneau Sand Dunes, C J Strike Reservoir, Bruneau Canyon Viewpoint, Hinton Reservoir, Hot Spring, Chalk Hills, C J Strike Dam, and Big Horse Basin Gap.
