* Flash Flood Warning for... West Central Quay County in east central New Mexico... Southeastern San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico...
* Until 445 AM MDT.
* At 250 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing moderate to heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.75 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Tucumcari and Montoya. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 311 and 338. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 83 and 105.
