Pontaluna Road Bridge Closure 
Please be advised that the MDOT will be performing bridge inspection and maintenance on the Pontaluna Road Bridge over US-31 on Sunday, August 10-11, 2025. Full closure of the bridge will begin Sunday at 7am with the planned opening at 6am Monday morning.
The closure is only for Pontaluna Road over US-31. The ramps will remain open with the left turn lanes coned off. Message Boards will be placed on Pontaluna (one on each side of the bridge) this week to message the closure and provided notification to motorists of the detour route during the closure.
