| Please Join the Ojai Police Department in National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025 Citizens of Ojai and the Ojai Valley are invited to participate in National Night Out, on Tuesday August 5th, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ojai Police Department. This event will be an open house, and a great opportunity to engage in relationship building with law enforcement staff in the Ojai Valley. National Night Out is an annual crime prevention event and community building campaign which promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help keep our neighborhoods safer year-round. National Night Out is a chance to bring citizens together with the men and women who serve them. Members of our Upper Ojai Search & Rescue team, K9 Unit, Ojai Explorers Post, and Volunteers in Policing will be on hand to answer questions related to their programs. Our Kid and Adult Print program will be available at the event. Ojai Police Chief Steve Jenkins said, “I am looking forward to meeting new members of the community, showing off our station, and introducing my amazing staff. It is always great to foster new community relationships and build on preexisting ones. This is a great opportunity to meet our deputies, Search & Rescue Volunteers and engage in a positive way, knowing we are here to help keep them safe and the community crime free.” The City of Ojai, Ojai Police Department, and Ventura County Sheriff’s Office are committed to fostering community relationships and helping keep neighborhoods free from the fear of crime. Chief Jenkins and the Ojai Police Department invite community members to come out, meet our deputies, ask questions, get crime prevention advice, and tour our station. This event will be held at the Ojai Police Station on Tuesday August 5th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
