Incident Summary
On July 31, 2025, at approximately 6:07 PM, Petaluma Police Department officers were dispatched to investigate a report of an occupied suspicious vehicle in the middle of the road.
Officers located Storrs’ vehicle, which then fled at a high rate of speed, running several red traffic lights. Officers initiated a vehicle pursuit, and Storrs led officers on a 5-mile, 15-minute pursuit with speeds from 3-50 miles per hour through the west side of Petaluma. Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, helicopter, Henry-1, responded and assisted. Storrs eventually pulled down a dead-end road and was taken into custody without further incident.
Storrs was determined to be driving while under the influence and was placed under arrest. Storrs was later booked at the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility for violation of 23152 CVC- DUI, 11377 HS- Possession of a controlled substance, and 2800.1 CVC- Evading a Police Officer.

Your vigilance made a significant difference. We also want to express our appreciation to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office and the Henry 1 helicopter crew for their critical support.
