* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the following counties, Beaufort, Hampton and Jasper.
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 949 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of torrential rainfall extending from Beaufort to Scotia. As much as 1 to 3.5 inches of rain has fallen over this area this evening. An additional 1 to 2 inches could fall through 1045 PM. The risk for minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas continues. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Beaufort, Port Royal, Ridgeland, Clarendon, Furman, Scotia, Coosawhatchie, Grahamville, Gillisonville and Old House.
