1. Battery on an Officer (0040) 1400 Block of Occidental Avenue, Civic District
Officers responded to the listed location on a report of a suspect violating a restraining order. Officers contacted the suspect and took him into custody. The suspect became combative and kicked officers, and was placed in a restraint device to keep him from injuring himself and others. ARRESTED: Jesse Ruelas, 36, for violation of a restraining order, battery on an officer, and resisting arrest.
