Special City Council Meeting Notice

Please take notice that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Hackensack will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 65 Central Avenue, Hackensack NJ 07601.

The purpose of this Special Meeting is to consider:

• Resolution Accepting the Resignation of Vincent Caruso as City Manager of the City of Hackensack
• Resolution Suspending the Contract with APS Contracting, Inc. for the 55-0009 Johnson Park Sports Complex Project with an Adjusted Contract Amount of $11,982,224.13
• Resolution Appointing Thomas Freeman City Manager of the City of Hackensack

There will be a three (3) minute public comment portion immediately following thereafter. No further business will be discussed or considered.

Formal Action may be taken during this Special Meeting.
