INCIDENT: Felon in Possession of Firearms and Receiving Known Stolen Property
LOCATION: 2900 block of Arcadia Road, Pinon Hills
SUSPECT(S): Robert Vansurksum, 52-year-old Apple Valley Resident
SUMMARY: On August 03, 2025, Deputy Ramos and Deputy Serna were notified of a stolen vehicle located in the 2900 block of Arcadia Road in Phelan, California. Ramos and Serna located the 1996 Dodge Ram and detained the suspect, Robert Vansurksum.
Ramos obtained a search warrant for the property. During the service of the search warrant, Ramos located multiple operable firearms, ammunition, and firearm manufacturing material. Vansurksum, a convicted felon, was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for felon in possession of a firearm and receiving known stolen property.
