From the Desk of SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN
Back-to-School Message and Safety Reminder
As our 52,000 students across Clayton County head into a brand-new school year, I want to take a moment to offer words of encouragement and a reminder that your safety and success are our top priorities.
To every student, walk into those classrooms with confidence. You are the future leaders, innovators, and change-makers. Stay focused, stay disciplined, and know that your community is cheering you on every step of the way.
To our parents and educators, thank you for your tireless commitment. Your guidance and dedication are shaping the next generation, and your efforts do not go unnoticed.
As your Sheriff, I want to also remind everyone of a few important safety tips:
• Report anything suspicious. If you see something, say something.
• Practice safe travel. Use crosswalks, wear seatbelts, and stay alert when walking or driving through school zones.
• Stay connected. Parents, talk to your children daily about their experiences and well-being.
Let’s work together to make this school year not only successful, but safe.
Wishing everyone a strong start and a powerful finish.
The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office will be standing strong and side by side with Chief Raynard Walker (School’s Chief of Safety and Security) to salute and wish all young scholars a happy, safe, and successful 2026 school year.
