Wilmington Police arrest man, recover loaded firearm: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man and recovered a loaded firearm.
On July 30 at approximately 12:48 a.m., police officers on an unrelated complaint in the 500 block of West 4th Street observed a male armed with a handgun. Police made contact with the subject, 38-year-old Charles Andrews, who was found to be intoxicated and in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun.
Andrews was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with the following offenses:
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Possession of a Firearm while Under the Influence
- Public Intoxication
