August 1, 2025:

• Officer Bean was dispatched to the 700 block of Bloomfield Boulevard for a larceny report. A firearm was entered into the national database as stolen.
• Officer Reynaga responded to a domestic dispute in the 500 block of First Street. A 31-year-old female was arrested for child abuse, and felonious assault.
• Detective Brooks made contact with a subject in the 1200 block of Carl Breeding Way. A 23-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing; carrying a concealed weapon; being a felon in possession of a firearm; and possession of a machine gun.
• Officers responded to the 300 block of Van Buren Street for a warrant pick-up. A 35-year-old male and a 36-year-old female were both arrested on outstanding felony warrants.
• Officer Brooker was dispatched to West Wesley Street and First Street for a disorderly subject. A 50-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
• Officers responded to West High Street and Williams Street for shots fired. Casings were located in the area.
• Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Michigan Avenue for several subjects fighting. A 34-year-old male was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. An 18-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing. Another 18-year-old male was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, and resisting and obstructing.

• Officer Richardson responded to the 2200 block of First Street for a traffic crash. A 52-year-old female was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officer Brooker was dispatched to the 900 block of North West Avenue for a threats report.
• Officers attended Relay for Life.
• Officer Goble met with troopers for a warrant pick-up. A 30-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officers were dispatched to Wildwood Avenue and West Michigan Avenue for a domestic dispute. A 26-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault. A 22-year-old female was arrested for resisting and obstructing.
• Officers responded to the 200 block of North Elm Avenue for a traffic crash. A 24-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and a concealed pistol license violation.
• Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near East Mason Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The 33-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated – high blood alcohol content.

• Officer Reynaga was dispatched to the 600 block of West Morrell Street for a domestic dispute. A 31-year-old male was arrested for multiple counts of domestic assault.
• Sergeant Burkart conducted a traffic stop at East Michigan Avenue and North Horton Street. The 28-year-old male driver was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants.
• Officer Morse responded to the 1000 block of Cooper Street for a subject shoplifting. A 38-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. Retail fraud charges will be sought on the male subject and a 32-year-old female.
• Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of North West Avenue for a traffic crash. A 45-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated – 3^rd offense.
• Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near Union Street and Woodbridge Street. The 36-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officer Panther conducted a traffic stop at East Michigan Avenue and South East Avenue, and the vehicle fled until reaching Homewild Avenue. The 30-year-old male driver was arrested for fleeing and eluding; driving with a suspended license; reckless driving; child endangerment; and conditional bond violation.
