The male victim, 18, was walking in the listed area when the suspect approached him from behind and hit him with a metal object. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: No suspect information.
2. Weapons Arrest (0341) Walnut Street and El Dorado Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the area on the report of suspicious subjects in a vehicle. Officers contacted the subjects and saw a firearm on the passenger’s lap. ARRESTED: William Miles, 53, for weapon charges.
