At 12:11pm a 2.7 magnitude earthquake was detected in Hillsdale and it was felt in Leonia and surrounding communities. We have not received any reports of damage. Please call Leonia Police Department or 9-1-1 to report emergencies only. The Bergen County Communications Center is receiving multiple calls about the earthquake and it is important to keep the telephone lines clear for emergencies. Thank you for your cooperation.
