River Flood Watch: North Oconee River at College Avenue Bridge & Other Riverside Areas 
Due to recent heavy and ongoing rains, the North Oconee River at the College Avenue bridge is forecasted to possibly reach 10 feet or higher during the night of Tuesday, August 5 and early morning of Wednesday, August 6.
The College Avenue bridge over the North Oconee River near MLK Parkway and/or neighboring facilities may be closed in the event the river rises rapidly.
If water covers the road or touches the bottom of the bridge, the road will be closed and no vehicles will be permitted to cross the bridge. Please plan to avoid travel in these areas during this time and drive with caution in any areas with standing water.
