Reported Earthquake 
On behalf of Haledon Mayor Michael Johnson, Haledon Office of Emergency Management Coordinator Carlos Aymat, Chief of Police Angelo J. Daniele, and Fire Chief Tom Bakker, we acknowledge the reported 2.7 earthquake activity that affected areas of New York City and North Jersey, including our community of Haledon, around 12:11 PM, as reported by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries or damage within our municipality. As always, we will maintain communication with the Passaic County Office of Emergency Management and will monitor for any further developments.
