Robbery Investigation Leads to the Arrest of Los Angeles Man and Woman

INCIDENT: PC 211 Robbery, PC 496 Possession of Stolen Property, HS 11378 Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales
LOCATION: 11400 Block of Benton St, Loma Linda
SUSPECT(S): Jonathan Cabrera-Jauregui, 31, Resident of Los Angeles, CA
Angela Oralia Herrera, 40, Resident of Los Angeles, CA

SUMMARY: On Monday, August 4, at 12:06 p.m., deputies responded to the 11400 Block of Benton Street in the city of Loma Linda regarding a call for service. The information provided was an unknown suspect was taking tools from the bed of the victim's truck and placing them into a blue Volkswagen SUV. The victim confronted the suspect to stop taking his tools and the suspect grabbed a tool and raised it at the victim. The victim walked away from the suspect, fearing he would use a weapon or tool to hurt him, and called for deputies to respond. The suspect left the scene in the blue Volkswagen SUV prior to deputies arrival.
Deputies later discovered the blue Volkswagen at a residence on the 25100 block of Starr Street in the city of Loma Linda. Deputies detained Jonathan Cabrera-Jauregui and Angela Oralia Herrera at the residence. Central station detectives assisted in the investigation and a search warrant was authorized for the residence and vehicle. Deputies were able to confirm Jonathan was the suspect who took the tools from the victim. During a search of the residence, deputies were able to recover the victim's stolen tools and return them to the victim. Deputies also located a large amount of suspected narcotics which was indicative of sales.
Jonathan Cabrera-Jauregui was arrested for robbery and possession of stolen property. Jonathan was booked into the Central Detention Center for PC 211 and PC 496(A), and is being held on $50,000 bail.
Angela Oralia Herrera was arrested for possession of narcotics for sales. Angela was booked into the Central Detention Center for HS 11378, and is being held on $50,000 bail.
