LOCATION: 10000 block of Mountain Rd, Pinon Hills
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
VICTIM(S): Confidential, 39-year-old Male
SUMMARY: On Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 7:35 p.m., deputies responded to a call of a male with a gunshot wound. During the investigation, it was reported the victim was riding a scooter in Pinon Hills when a white vehicle stopped next to him. Three unknown males wearing masks demanded the scooter. One of the suspects hit the victim in the head while attempting to take the scooter. Another suspect shot the victim. The victim was driven to the fire station in Phelan and subsequently airlifted to a nearby hospital.
Deputies were unable to locate the suspects or the crime scene during the initial investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Deputy E.
