Janesville Police Department Hires Two Officers 
The Janesville Police Department announces the hiring of two police officers, who began their service on August 4th, 2025. The two officers were sworn in during a ceremony on August 5th, 2025.
Officer Nathan Weber is from Milton, WI, and graduated from Milton High School. He is currently pursuing an associate's degree in criminal justice at Blackhawk Technical College and is scheduled to graduate in May 2026. He will be attending the Law Enforcement Academy at Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville beginning in August 2025.
Officer Branson Wood is from Rockton, IL, and graduated from Hononegah High School. He earned an associate's degree from Rock Valley College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He will be attending the Law Enforcement Academy at Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville, beginning in August 2025.
