Wilmington Police have arrested a Newark woman on drug charges.
 
On August 5 at approximately 2:17 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division were in the area of 7^th and Washington Streets when they observed a female engaged in drug transactions. Police made contact with the suspect, 28-year-old Maya Howard, and took her into custody without incident. Police recovered .6 grams of crack cocaine.
 
Howard has been charged with the following offenses:
