The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the DC Department of General Services (DGS) would like to inform the community that Fort Davis Community Center and Park (1400 41st St SE) is now closed to the public as of Tuesday, August 5, 2025, for redevelopment.
This project will include demolishing the existing community center and modernizing the site with new amenities. Planned upgrades include an indoor gym, elevated walking track, commercial kitchen, and multipurpose spaces and improved park features to better serve the community.
