Details: Two victims reported being scammed by individuals posing as government officials. The victims were told they were under investigation for visa issues and were coerced into sending over $19,000 through Bitcoin machines in West Windsor and Hightstown. The suspects posed as representatives from the U.S. Government, a legal team, and U.S. Immigration. Personal documents were also sent to a fraudulent email address. Victims ceased communication upon realizing the fraud.

The suspect then fled on foot into Wegmans. Officers were unable to locate the individual, though two possible suspect vehicles were identified. The victim sustained minor bruising and expressed intent to sign a complaint once the suspect is identified.

She left in a silver Chevy SUV with no front plate. The same suspect is believed to have been involved in prior incidents. Investigation is ongoing.

After realizing her phone was missing, she checked its location and found it pinging near Alexander Road, then later in Woodside, New York.

After receiving a fraud alert from her bank, she learned that a transaction had been attempted at the Apple Store in Quaker Bridge Mall. Lawrence Township Police were notified. The wallet contained various credit cards, IDs, and $60 in cash.

She was provided with resources and advised to monitor her financial accounts.

Details: On July 11th, a suspect entered Lowe’s in a white U-Haul van, selected tools valued at several hundred dollars, and later exited without paying. Surveillance showed the suspect initially staging the items near a register, then loading them into the van and driving off. Investigation is ongoing.

Details: Boneo and Young attempted to return tools purchased the day prior in Connecticut with counterfeit bills. They were identified by store staff, and video confirmed they were the same individuals involved. Boneo was found with four counterfeit $50 bills; Young had twenty counterfeit $50 bills. Both were charged with Theft by Deception. Boneo was also found to have an active warrant and was turned over to Mercer County Corrections. Young was released ROR. Both were trespassed from Lowe’s.

Details: Target loss prevention reported a July 11th theft in which two suspects stole a Roborock vacuum and a Ninja slushy machine valued at $1,950. They exited the store without paying and left in a beige Honda Accord (approx. 2010 model). Investigation is ongoing.

Arrested: Majid Ka-zar Lynwood John Catlett Guy – Belle Mead, NJ
Details: Officers were dispatched to the area of Alexander Road and Canal Pointe Boulevard on the report of an unconscious male behind the wheel. Upon arrival, officers located the driver, Majid Catlett Guy, who exhibited signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and incoherent responses. He failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DWI.
At police headquarters, Catlett Guy refused to provide breath samples and was charged accordingly. He was issued summonses for DWI, Refusal to Submit to Breath Testing, and Reckless Driving. Catlett Guy was released to a responsible party after the completion of a John’s Law form.

He later received a fraud alert indicating a denied purchase attempt at Wawa in Hamilton Township. The victim contacted Wawa and confirmed that someone attempted to use his credit card to purchase gift cards totaling $273.80. The victim was advised to monitor his accounts and file a report for documentation and investigation.

Arrested: Mustafa Mansour (Brooklyn, NY)
Details: Mansour was observed driving a pink dirt bike recklessly on U.S. Route 1 and entering the Whole Foods lot in the wrong direction. Inside the lot, he performed stunts before crashing into parked cars and striking a pedestrian. He resisted officers before being taken into custody. Mansour was charged with obstruction, assault by auto, and disorderly conduct, along with numerous motor vehicle violations. He also had outstanding warrants in Sparta Township. He was released ROR with future court dates.

Details: A homeowner reported an attempted burglary after reviewing Ring camera footage that showed a suspect opening packages on the porch and damaging a basement window. The suspect used a package to obscure the camera and attempted to gain entry via a basement window, causing visible tool marks and damage. The investigation is ongoing.

Arrested: Beverly Davis – Trenton, NJ
Details: On the above date and time, officers responded to Dick’s Sporting Goods for a report of shoplifting. Loss prevention staff observed Beverly Davis conceal two packs of Nike socks in a Walmart bag and exit the store without paying. Officers located Davis and placed her under arrest. During a search incident to arrest, five glass pipes with burnt edges were recovered from her bag, along with multiple credit cards and identification documents not belonging to her, including a Social Security card.
Davis was processed at police headquarters and charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia. She also had an active warrant out of Ewing Township and was turned over to Ewing Police.

Arrested: Everett Juarez – Keansburg, NJ
Details: On the above date and time, officers were dispatched to the area of Old Trenton Road and Cubberly Road for a suspicious vehicle stopped in the roadway. Upon arrival, they located a black GMC truck with its engine running and the driver, Everett Juarez, asleep at the wheel. Juarez exhibited signs of intoxication and admitted to drinking prior to driving.
Juarez failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to police headquarters, where he submitted breath samples yielding a result above the legal limit. His vehicle was impounded per John’s Law, and he was issued summonses for DWI, reckless driving, and improper parking. Juarez was released to a responsible party pending a future court date.

Arrested: Joseph J. Hoyer Jr. – Trenton, NJ
Details: West Windsor Police responded to a report of an erratic driver at the intersection of Quakerbridge and Clarksville Roads. Lawrence Township Police and Fire Marshal John Zairopoulos was already on scene with the vehicle, a silver 2008 Chevy Malibu, which had reportedly driven off the roadway and struck overgrown bushes. Zairopoulos advised officers that he witnessed the driver attempt to conceal an open container of alcohol under his seat.
Upon speaking with the driver, later identified as Joseph J. Hoyer Jr., officers observed signs of impairment, including slow, slurred speech, confusion about the date and location, and difficulty maintaining balance. Field sobriety testing was conducted, and Hoyer was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to police headquarters for processing.

Details: Loss prevention staff at Best Buy reported a past-tense shoplifting incident involving a male suspect who concealed merchandise in his pants pockets and groin area before exiting the store without paying. The incident occurred around 5:33 PM. The total value of the stolen items was $710.
The suspect then entered a silver Toyota sedan and fled the area. He is described as a male with a darker complexion, approximately 5’3” to 5’9” in height, aged between 36 and 50, with visible tattoos on both forearms. He was wearing a black Yankees cap, black t-shirt, gray cargo shorts, and black Jordan 11 sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.

Arrested: Seth G. Jarvie – Millstone Twp., NJ
Details: While investigating a shoplifting that occurred earlier in the day (ref. 2025-19097), officers identified and arrested Seth G. Jarvie. During the investigation, store asset protection also connected Jarvie to a prior shoplifting incident on July 21st, in which he concealed merchandise valued at $40.57 and exited the store without paying.
Jarvie was processed at police headquarters and charged with shoplifting. He was issued a complaint summons and given a municipal court date of August 13th, 2025. He was also formally trespassed from all Target locations for a period of one year.

Details: Officers were dispatched to the area of Alexander Road and Canal Pointe Boulevard on the report of an unconscious male behind the wheel. Upon arrival, officers located the driver, Majid Catlett Guy, who exhibited signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, bloodshot eyes, and incoherent responses. He failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DWI.
At police headquarters, Catlett Guy refused to provide breath samples and was charged accordingly. He was issued summonses for DWI, Refusal to Submit to Breath Testing, and Reckless Driving. Catlett Guy was released to a responsible party after the completion of a John’s Law form.

The victim was advised to monitor his accounts and file a report for documentation and investigation.

Details: Mansour was observed driving a pink dirt bike recklessly on U.S. Route 1 and entering the Whole Foods lot in the wrong direction. Inside the lot, he performed stunts before crashing into parked cars and striking a pedestrian. He resisted officers before being taken into custody. Mansour was charged with obstruction, assault by auto, and disorderly conduct, along with numerous motor vehicle violations. He also had outstanding warrants in Sparta Township. He was released ROR with future court dates.

Details: A homeowner reported an attempted burglary after reviewing Ring camera footage that showed a suspect opening packages on the porch and damaging a basement window. The suspect used a package to obscure the camera and attempted to gain entry via a basement window, causing visible tool marks and damage. The investigation is ongoing.

Arrested: Beverly Davis – Trenton, NJ
Details: On the above date and time, officers responded to Dick’s Sporting Goods for a report of shoplifting. Loss prevention staff observed Beverly Davis conceal two packs of Nike socks in a Walmart bag and exit the store without paying. Officers located Davis and placed her under arrest. During a search incident to arrest, five glass pipes with burnt edges were recovered from her bag, along with multiple credit cards and identification documents not belonging to her, including a Social Security card.
Davis was processed at police headquarters and charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia. She also had an active warrant out of Ewing Township and was turned over to Ewing Police.

Arrested: Everett Juarez – Keansburg, NJ
Details: On the above date and time, officers were dispatched to the area of Old Trenton Road and Cubberly Road for a suspicious vehicle stopped in the roadway. Upon arrival, they located a black GMC truck with its engine running and the driver, Everett Juarez, asleep at the wheel. Juarez exhibited signs of intoxication and admitted to drinking prior to driving.
Juarez failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to police headquarters, where he submitted breath samples yielding a result above the legal limit. His vehicle was impounded per John’s Law, and he was issued summonses for DWI, reckless driving, and improper parking. Juarez was released to a responsible party pending a future court date.

Arrested: Joseph J. Hoyer Jr. – Trenton, NJ
Details: West Windsor Police responded to a report of an erratic driver at the intersection of Quakerbridge and Clarksville Roads. Lawrence Township Police and Fire Marshal John Zairopoulos was already on scene with the vehicle, a silver 2008 Chevy Malibu, which had reportedly driven off the roadway and struck overgrown bushes. Zairopoulos advised officers that he witnessed the driver attempt to conceal an open container of alcohol under his seat.
Upon speaking with the driver, later identified as Joseph J. Hoyer Jr., officers observed signs of impairment, including slow, slurred speech, confusion about the date and location, and difficulty maintaining balance. Field sobriety testing was conducted, and Hoyer was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to police headquarters for processing.

Details: Loss prevention staff at Best Buy reported a past-tense shoplifting incident involving a male suspect who concealed merchandise in his pants pockets and groin area before exiting the store without paying. The incident occurred around 5:33 PM. The total value of the stolen items was $710.
The suspect then entered a silver Toyota sedan and fled the area. He is described as a male with a darker complexion, approximately 5’3” to 5’9” in height, aged between 36 and 50, with visible tattoos on both forearms. He was wearing a black Yankees cap, black t-shirt, gray cargo shorts, and black Jordan 11 sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.

Arrested: Seth G. Jarvie – Millstone Twp., NJ
Details: While investigating a shoplifting that occurred earlier in the day (ref. 2025-19097), officers identified and arrested Seth G. Jarvie. During the investigation, store asset protection also connected Jarvie to a prior shoplifting incident on July 21st, in which he concealed merchandise valued at $40.57 and exited the store without paying.
Jarvie was processed at police headquarters and charged with shoplifting. He was issued a complaint summons and given a municipal court date of August 13th, 2025. He was also formally trespassed from all Target locations for a period of one year.
