INCIDENT: P.C. 69 - Obstruction or Resisting a Peace Officer, H&S 11550(a) - Under Influence of a Controlled Substance
LOCATION: Bear Valley Road/Amethyst Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Jeremy Robinson, 35-years-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at approximately 9:50 p.m., while on patrol Deputy J. Corado noticed a subject lying down in the middle of the roadway at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Amethyst Road. Deputy Corado attempted to contact the subject, who was later identified as Jeremy Robinson. Robinson stood up and ran away, causing traffic to come to an immediate stop. A foot pursuit ensued and deputies detained Robinson.
A deputy responding to the scene arrived and activated their overhead emergency lights to clear traffic at the intersection. The deputy and a vehicle traveling eastbound on Bear Valley Road collided. Deputies from the Victorville Traffic Division arrived and assumed the investigation into the vehicle collision. Paramedics were requested to the scene, but no injuries were reported.
