Tonight, Aug. 7, at 7 p.m. a special City Council meeting will be held via Zoom to discuss a resolution authorizing the execution of an Interim Cost and Conditional Designation Agreement betweem the City and Skylight Residential Group Acquisitions, LLC for the proposed redevelopment of Garage B. The purpose of this agreement is to collect escrow from a conditionally designated redeveloper for the purpose of paying expenses incurred by the City while negotiating a redevelopment agreement.
Under the adopted Garage B Redevelopment Plan, the mixed-use project would include a municipal parking garage, ground-floor retail spaces, a minimum of 20 percent affordable housing with the remainder of housing being workforce housing affordable to households making up to 120 percent of median household income in the region.
